“If you have the opportunity to see Stephanie Wolff, know that you will be in excellent care. I used to see her at my physicians office and she as the only person I would go to. I have always had weight issues and hated going to seethe doctor but Stephanie never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed. She always met me where I was at and gave me a clean slate. I haven’t been able to find someone as kind, caring and so invested in her patient since. She is a gem!”

#NOVUSfidence (noun): a new-found confidence of taking a shirtless picture after The Novus 90 Day Weight Loss Program.
Growing up, I’ve always been known as the “chubby” kid. There have been periods where I would adopt a diet for a couple weeks and exercise consistently with good results but they were never sustained. I seemed to always gain back the weight I lost. As soon as I turned 30, I wanted to make my health a priority. But, I knew my previous attempts were not cutting it and that I needed professional help. A friend of mine referred me to Stephanie Wolff, PA and the Novus Center for her 90-day weight loss program.
Stephanie is INCREDIBLE! Going into medical appointments, especially for the first time, is always daunting, but Stephanie makes you feel comfortable right from the beginning. She has a magnetic personality that emanates as soon as she walks in through the door. She makes it seem like you’ve known each other for years.
She had me do lab work prior to the first appointment (e.g. checking cholesterol, hormones, blood sugar, etc.) and she went over them thoroughly during the appointment. We then reviewed the program and came up with a personalized plan for the 90 days. Given that I live in San Diego, she was able to accommodate for the distance.
Throughout the program, I always felt that Stephanie was there with me every step of the way despite the distance. If I did not see her in person, we would set up virtual appointments via FaceTime to check in. I also had access to a dietician every week that helped me keep track of my diet.
Novus’ weight loss program focuses not on just weight loss itself per se but lifestyle changes. And, that is the beauty of this program that differs from others. Stephanie slowly and gradually teaches you a new, healthier way of living. The changes she helps you make is sustainable long after you finish her program. It was not easy making these changes, but it did get easier along the way. And week after week, I started to feel better and better. I lost 47 pounds in 90 days with the Novus program. I started out wearing size 40 pants and am now down to 34 (a loose 34 at that!). But, more than anything, the way I feel about myself is what changed the most. I took my first shirtless picture the other day. And, for a “chubby” kid growing up, that was a big step for me.
It wasn’t an easy road to get to where I am now, but nothing worth having is ever easy. And, this feeling of finally, finally being comfortable in my body is so worth it. Run, don’t walk to the Novus Center! Get ready for your life to change.

Where to start…from the day I met Stephanie I knew how special she was. She is the first doctor that ever TRULY cared about my issues and was willing to try anything to get to the bottom of them. I have severe allergies, weight gain and thyroid disorders…after years of your typical blood test that doesn’t reveal much, Stephanie ran the most comprehensive panel for me and we got to the bottom of my hormonal and autoimmune issues… I would follow her wherever she goes! I even flew my mom just to see her and get all these blood tests done. I owe her a lot. She believes in curing our bodies with food and stress release instead of with medications and I believe in that wholeheartedly. About a month ago I started the weight loss program and I am down 20 + lbs, obviously I am excited but more than anything I feel fantastic, my skin cleared up and I feel extremely well taken care of. Stephanie cares way too much for her patients and it shows, its’ a beautiful thing. I am very proud of her success and can’t wait to see how far she goes. Thank you Stephanie!!!

I’m gonna give you two versions of my story here. The short version, and if you want to keep reading… the long version.
*The short version – I am obsessed with Stephanie. She helped me feel like myself again. She truly cares so much about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone I know suffering from an autoimmune disease, or with their weight in general.
*Long version – I have always been pretty athletic. Two years ago my body started freaking out. I went to the dr. and found out that I had Graves Disease (an autoimmune disease that makes my thyroid work overtime). The doctors that I went to just gave me a bunch of medicine and sent me on my way. Every two months I would go back to them and they would just give me more pills. The pills shut my thyroid down and I gained a lot of weight. Nothing I would do would get me to lose it. I started seeing a new doctor that told me I just needed to eat less. Which was maybe the most frustrating thing that I have ever heard in my life. I knew that that wasn’t it. I knew it. I felt like a crazy person because nothing worked. I finally started seeing Stephanie THREE MONTHS ago. She looked at everything in my body, and when the lab results came back she sat down with me and we went over everything together. It turned out that I was deficient in several things and that certain foods were inflaming my thyroid. I started taking 8 different vitamins and cut out dairy and gluten. In 3 months I’ve lost 36 pounds. 36!! I’ve always worked out, but now I was getting my body back to a normal place internally. I can’t really vocalize how happy I am. I feel like finally someone listened to me and really cared and helped.

Stephanie Wolff is who you have been looking for to help you lose weight. My own struggle with weight came as something of a surprise later in life. I was not heavy as a child, teen, or young adult. My weight gain came on gradually, a bad knee, another bad knee, replacement on both, shoulder surgery, stress at work, stress at home, hormone imbalance from menopause, you name it. It seemed like the whole universe was conspiring to make me gain weight from age 50 onward. I could be careful with my eating for about four weeks, and lose a little weight, but there always seemed to be some life event that took over and back came the pounds, along with a few more each time.
I was at my highest weight ever when I finally found Stephanie, she started to help me immediately, that day, explaining how I could begin. Her kindness and understanding were just what I needed at that point. I think we can all get to a place where we think that this is just how it’s going to be, that we’ll be heavy for the rest of our lives. Stephanie did not ask about how it all happened; she just started to help. I listened and began then and there to follow her suggestions. They were very basic and simple to understand.
When I saw her again a few weeks later, I had lost about 15 lbs. I stayed with her, following her suggestions and making a few more modifications in my diet, trying to ease myself into new patterns. Because of my knee problems, I just did my recumbent bike, no gym or exercise classes, just the bike about 30 minutes a few times a week. When I saw her again at my appointment a couple months later, I had lost more weight and my blood sugar levels were also down. This was now the longest I had been able to monitor my diet successfully in many years, and I was nothing short of amazed that I had done so. It is now about 10 months later, and I have lost almost 60 lbs. I’d like to lose 40 lbs. more. I want to say that so that you know my weight gain was really something by the time I saw Stephanie, not just a few minor vanity pounds. That I needed to lose 100 lbs. was unbelievable to me; the weight had just crept upwards year after year.
I am still seeing Stephanie and still losing weight. Her positive attitude and helpful suggestions are what make me stay on track. She is the best of all possible worlds, knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. I know you must be looking for help if you have read this far. I want you to know that my story is true, and my recommendation of Stephanie Wolff is sincere. You have come to the right place if you are looking for someone to help you with your weight. I hope that I can read your own story here in a few months.

I was 38 years old and I weighed close to 380 lbs. I was miserable, I was making my family miserable. I always had an excuse for why I couldn’t lose the weight. I always thought to myself – one day. I walked around thinking that I carried my weight well, I wasn’t as fat as the scale said. I lied to myself and lied to myself until I realized almost 400 lbs. isn’t safe. I had two (2) young children and if I wanted to be around to see them live and get married and have babies, I had to do something myself. I wanted to volunteer at my kids’ school but the other children always made fun of my weight and started to tease my kids about having a “fat mother.” The rides at Disneyland were tight and walking around all day was a chore. I could no longer find clothes at a regular store or even plus-size store. I had to special order them from a catalog because I was so heavy.
I realized that I was an emotional eater – if I was happy, I ate; if I was sad, I ate; celebrating – eating! Every aspect of my life involved eating, what could I eat, I went to bed thinking about what I was going to eat the next day. Family had talked about getting gastric bypass but I knew that wasn’t the answer. I knew that I would have to change my eating habits and get exercising regardless of how I went about my weight loss.
My friend always talked about hiking and about going up to Griffith Mountain. I loved hiking when I was younger and so I decided it was time to go. It was time to get off my couch and do something about my weight. I started gradually working my way up the mountain. I started incorporating about an hour of hiking into my weekly routine and I went about four (4) times a week. I went to see Stephanie after I had lost about 20 lbs. on my own. She ran a blood panel and flat out told me that I had to lose weight. While I had started on my own, Stephanie’s program helped me to lose an additional 75 lbs. I cut out the sugar and carbs. I focused on vegetables, fruit and protein. I realize that I have a ways to go until I hit my goal weight, however, I’m a lot farther than I was. I am still in Stephanie’s program and am working towards my goal weight. Every day, every choice, every step. That’s where it starts.

I have been struggling with weight loss since high school. I am 32 years old and when Stephanie Wolff talked to me about her weight loss program, I was at a point in my life where I was depressed, weighing 276 pounds and not making healthy life choices. I was tired all the time and felt so unhealthy and unhappy. I lost 40 lbs so far and have not felt this great in a long time. I am eating healthy and exercising, I have so much energy and motivation and I am so happy this is working for me.
